Santorini is one of the MOST beautiful and breath taking places we have ever visited. No matter where you are or which side of the island you decide to book your stay, the view is absolutely beautiful. There is no such thing as as ugly corner on the island.

We loved it so much we are already planning our next trip here.

We decided to stay on the south side of the island and it was the best decision I think we made when booking the trip. Although we did have to take a bus every morning to the "touristy" part of Santorini, it was nice to not be staying in a crowded area like the north side of the island. The north side of the island gets very crowded and loud, so make sure you do your research when booking your stay.

Our airbnb was beautiful and the host was AMAZING!!! We arrived late at night so he made sure to provide transportation from the airport. Our host and the driver were both very helpful and carried our bags to the door. Our host also had the fridge stocked with water, milk, orange juice and also had a variety of breakfast items for us so we wouldn't have to rush out for breakfast early in the morning. He provided us with a map and the bus schedule and gave us so many tips of things we should try do to while on vacation.

There are so many beaches to choose from! Literally about a 15 minute drive from each other. All of them are very similar and provide chairs and folding beds for anyone to use! There is also a strip of gift shops and restaurants next to every beach which makes it super convenient to spend the day at the beach.

We decided our first day that we wanted to take a boat tour of their volcanoes, beaches and hot springs. Even though it was last minute we were able to book something very fast and easy! We were on a private boat with 10 other people so it was more intimate than a cheaper tour with 50+ people.  They included pick and  drop off from our Airbnb, lunch barbecue on the boat, refreshments (all you can drink beer and wine) snorkeling gear and towels.  The service was incredible and the tour was everything we could have asked for. The guides were very informative and provided so much history on the island and their volcanoes. It lasted about 6 hours and there was plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling. The tour we booked was about $100 per person but very much worth every penny!

The food was AMAZING!!!! Our favorite place to eat was Pito Gyros Traditional Grill House. The food was super affordable and the service was great and very fast. We ordered the Gyros Chicken (tzatziki, tomato, onion and fresh fried potatoes) and the Handmade Oregano Sausage-in bread with mustard, tomato, onion and fresh fried potatoes. When I tell you the food was amazing.. IM NOT LYING.. It was incredible.

The amount of instagramable places for pictures is endless. Everywhere you turn is an opportunity to take a picture, but unless you're ready to wake up at the crack of dawn... get ready to have hundreds of tourist in the background of all your pictures. We were in Santorini for 3 days and 4 nights and tried to enjoy the first 2 days without worrying about taking an Instagram "worthy" picture. Our last day in Santorini, we woke up SUPER EARLY and were ready to head out and take pictures at 6:00 AM. Yes I know exactly what you're thinking.. PSYCHOS!! and yes I totally agree.. the Instagram life isn't for everyone.  But if you want to take pictures with not a soul around, it's what you have to do.

This picture was taken our first day! With lots of tourist

This picture was taken our last day in the same spot.. EARLY IN THE MORNING

You can see Santorini in 3 days but part of me wishes we would have spent more time there. It was the most amazing trip we have taken to date. We cant wait to be back in Santorini, but for now we will relieve our trip through all the pictures and videos we took.
