The Perfect Weekend Getaway at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive
This pass weekend we had to opportunity to stay at the Wyndham Orlando resort on International Drive. The hotel is located in such a perfect location from all the theme parks, with only a 10 minute drive to Universal Studios Orlando and 15 minutes to Disney World. They are also located walking distance from a lot of restaurants and the ICON Park which has attractions like The Wheel (the Orlando Eye), Orlando StarFlyer and the Madame Tussauds Orlando wax museum. The resort is also walking distance from some amazing resturants like Coopers Hawk.
The rooms are extremely spacious and all decorated and remodeled with flat screen TVs, a mini fridge and beautiful black and white carpets.. The room was extremely clean and the white sheets on the bed looked like no one had ever touched them. Im not lying when I say those were some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. We booked 2 rooms that were located right next to each. Both rooms had a connecting door that is perfect for big families who want to stay together but still want a little privacy. The hotel also offers family bunk rooms that come with bunk beds and kid's TV with parental controls.
This resort has 2 outdoor pools and a heated spa that makes you feel like you are on a tropical vacation. Since they have 2 pools it was very easy to social distance and the pool never felt crowded. It felt very nice to be able to relax without worrying about the crowds.
The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful with everything we needed. Our entire stay we felt very comfortable an safe and saw that the hotel staff was taking all the necessary precautions to make sure every guess felt safe and was practicing social distancing. During your stay, they try not to do any house keeping in your room to make sure all guess have the least amount of contact with the staff and to ensure everyone is staying safe during their vacation. Although they aren't doing house keeping during your stay, they are available to provide anything you need and are happy to bring anything to your room. We cant wait to be back to enjoy another stay at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive.
