The perfect Instagram worthy brunch spot has recently opened in the Tampa Bay Area called Luv Child! The food is delicious and very affordable with a unique twist of Cuban inspired dishes. The drinks are just as unique as the food with options like, horchata latte, dragon fruit frozen mojitos and freshly squeezed mimosas.

Although Luv Child is open all day and turns into more of a bar seen at night, it’s very family friendly in the day time. We got the opportunity to be invited by Luv Child for a private influencer brunch and it quickly became our new favorite brunch spot.

The minute we walked in, we fell in love with the vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant. They really thought of every little detail when decorating. From the colors, decorations, the music and even the way it was furnished. It’s furnished with pink and green chairs, gold colored booths with white or marble tables that gives it that bright look that is picture perfect. You have the option of inside or outside sitting. We were seated in one of the gold booths inside and were greeted by such nice staff.

We started with drinks and decided to order a variety of different options. They offer mimosas in all types of flavors like classic freshly squeezed orange juice to unique flavors like dragon fruit to watermelon. We decided to try the strawberry and dragon fruit mimosas, we highly recommended either flavor. We also tried frozen dragon fruit and watermelon mojitos, and although neither of our first drink option  would be mojitos, their mojitos were amazing and we will definitely be ordering them again.

If you’re a Star Wars can make sure to ask for their secret menu Baby Yoda margarita which was amazing!!

We also tried the horchata latte that was a stand out from their non alcoholic drinks.

Like I mentioned before, all the food at luv child is made with a Cuban inspired twist, so it’s very different from any brunch we’ve ever had. The flavors are unique and all the dishes are plated beautifully. We tried 4 different dishes and we can honestly say there was nothing bad about any of them. And something we absolutely loved and found very unique and different from any brunch restaurant we’ve ever visited is that most of the dishes are vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and/or plant based.

We had the Huevos Rancheros, this was a dish with two over-medium eggs, ranchero sauce,

queso and black bean quesadilla with mashed avocado. The Havana Heavenly Hash was probably one of our favorite dishes, it’s made with tater tot hash, plantains, onion, bell pepper, jack cheese, two eggs any style and poblano queso. We also had the Guava stuffed French Toast that was topped with tres leches and fresh strawberries. And we ordered the Baked Nachos to share with the table. The nachos had masa de puerco, pickled onion, poblano, cilantro, tres queso. It was the perfect shareable size!
